Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The central electronic module (CEM) has lost communication with the infotainment control module (ICM) and sets this code. The fault lies in the communication, not in the CEM, so the CEM should not be replaced. The screen of the audio system and some infotainment functions may stop working.
Możliwe przyczyny
- The ICM is not getting power
- The ground wire to the ICM is broken
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Broken CAN wiring to the ICM
- Wrong ICM for this car, for example a used module with different software or hardware
- A common CAN network fault if several communication faults are stored at the same time
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Turn the key to position I or II and check that the ICM button backlight lights. If it does, the ICM is powered and grounded.
- 2Check the ICM fuses. If one has blown, replace it once. If it blows again, use a multimeter to check the wire after it has no contact with ground.
- 3Check that the connectors to the ICM are seated and not corroded, chafed or damaged. Use a multimeter to check the ground wire has no break
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the wires between the fuse, the relay and the ICM have no breaks. The fault may be intermittent
- 5After the work, clear the code and check that the screen works
