The central electronic module (CEM) supplies the right brake light directly from an output. The code is set when the signal from the output is too low, which can be caused by poor contact in the connections or a signal wire shorted to ground.
Możliwe przyczyny
- Contact resistance, oxidation or play in the connections
- The signal wire is shorted to ground
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read and clear the code, then press the brake pedal and see whether the right brake light comes on
- 2Check that the bulb in the right brake light is intact and sits correctly in its holder
- 3Check the brake light fuse
- 4Check the connections to the right brake light for oxidation and play
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has no contact with ground (the bodywork)
- 6If the wire is intact, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the module output
Objawy, które możesz zauważyć3
