Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The combustion preheater module (CPM) has registered a signal from the flame sensor that is too low. The flame sensor checks whether the heater has lit. The cause may be a short to earth in the cable, poor connections or a damaged flame sensor. The heater cannot be activated until the code has been cleared.

- The cable between the CPM and the flame sensor is shorted to earth
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connections
- Damaged flame sensor
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Clear the code and check that it does not return when the heater starts
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read whether a flame was detected after a completed heater run; if no flame is detected although the heater has burned, the flame sensor is suspect
- 3Disconnect the connector at the flame sensor and check that the contacts are secure and free from oxidation
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the cable has no contact with earth (the body); if it does, the cable is shorted
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the flame sensor or check the wiring
