The heater has gone out in an impermitted way while running at half speed, and the code is set and the heater switched off. The cause may be a damaged fuel supply or air pockets in the fuel line, an intake pipe in the fuel tank that has moved out of position, or a clogged or damaged flame sensor.

- 1Check that the tank has enough fuel for the heater to work
- 2Clear the code and start the heater again; if the code returns, the fault is still present
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, after a completed heater run, read whether a flame was detected
- 4Look for damaged or pinched fuel lines and for signs of air in the fuel line; fuel line work should be done by a workshop
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop check the intake pipe in the fuel tank, the flame sensor and the combustion air flow
