Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The fuel level sensor gives a signal that is too low, so the instrument shows an incorrect fuel level. The fault is intermittent, meaning it has occurred before but does not always show. The cause may be a signal wire shorted to ground or voltage, or a faulty sensor.

- Faulty fuel level sensor
- Fault in the instrument panel
- On vehicles with AWD the fault may lie in either of the two sensors in the pump units
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read off the fault code, note it and clear it. Test drive the vehicle to see if the fault returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 3Check the connectors at the fuel level sensor for oxidation and loose fit; on vehicles with AWD this applies to both pump units
- 4Follow the signal wire from the sensor to the instrument for chafing and pinched areas. Use a multimeter to confirm the wire has no contact with ground (body)
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the fuel level sensor and the instrument panel
