Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
Although the code is named signal missing, it applies when the signal to the injector for cylinder 3 is faulty. The engine control module drives the injectors through a high-output stage and monitors the signal wire to each one. The fault concerns cylinder 3 only, but it can be clearly felt while driving.

- Poor contact, with loose connections or oxidation at the injector
- Break in the signal wire
- Signal wire shorted to ground or supply voltage
- Damaged injector
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connector to the cylinder 3 injector is fully engaged and free from oxidation
- 3Follow the two wires to the cylinder 3 injector and look for breaks, chafing and shorts to ground
- 4With the connector unplugged, use a multimeter to check that the wires have no connection to ground (the body)
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the cylinder 3 injector and listen for a clear sound from it
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the injector output stage and decide whether the injector should be replaced
