Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The boost pressure sensor signal stays constantly high and does not change when the pressure changes. The fault is set when the signal lies above a certain value for a set time. The fault may be in the sensor or in its wiring.
Możliwe przyczyny
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Signal wire shorted to voltage
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Open circuit in the signal ground wire
- Damaged boost pressure sensor
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2With a diagnostic tool, read boost pressure in live data at idle and with a little throttle; a value that never changes means the signal is stuck
- 3Look at the boost pressure sensor connector and wiring for chafing, pinching and loose connections
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not shorted to positive and that the ground wire is not broken
- 5Check that the fuses are intact. Fuse locations are shown in the owner's manual
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the boost pressure sensor with diagnostic equipment
