Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The ECM follows the PWM signal from the position sensor on the EGR valve. The code is set when the signal from the sensor is incorrect, and it is named as an internal system fault. The fault can lie in the sensor's connections or in the sensor itself.
Możliwe przyczyny
- Contact resistance, oxidation or an open circuit in the connections
- Damaged position sensor
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Start the engine and read the fault status with a diagnostic tool, if you have one
- 2Check that the connectors to the position sensor are firmly seated and not oxidised
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wires to the position sensor have no open circuit
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, read the position sensor value with the engine running and check that it changes when the EGR valve is activated
- 5Read and clear the fault code, then road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the position sensor
Objawy, które możesz zauważyć1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
Na co może wpływać usterka1
- EGR control is lost
