Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The control module has found a fault on glow plug 1. The glow plug heats the combustion chamber at start, and when it does not work a cold engine becomes harder to start. The code is general and does not say what type of fault it is.

- Short circuit in the signal wire between the glow plug relay and the glow plug
- Damaged glow plug
- Voltage from the glow control unit is too low
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read and clear the fault code, and start the engine when cold to see whether it returns
- 2Check the glow system fuses in the owner's manual
- 3Look at the connector on glow plug 1 and the wire between the glow relay and the glow plug for loose contacts, oxidation and chafing
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, activate glowing and check in live data whether glow plug 1 follows along
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the wire to glow plug 1 has no contact with ground (the body), with the connectors disconnected
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the glow plug and the glow control unit
