Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The control module has found a fault on glow plug 3. The glow plug heats the combustion chamber during a cold start, and when it does not work the engine becomes harder to start. The code is general and does not say what type of fault it is.

- Short circuit in the signal wire between the glow plug relay and the glow plug
- Damaged glow plug
- Voltage from the glow control unit is too low
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read and clear the fault code, and test-drive with a cold engine to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses for the glow plugs are intact in the owner's manual
- 3Look at the connector on glow plug 3 and the wire to it for loose contacts, corrosion and chafing
- 4With a diagnostic tool you can activate glowing and check in live data whether cylinder 3 is included
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the wire to glow plug 3 has no contact with ground (the body), with the connectors disconnected
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the glow plug and the glow control unit
