Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
Although the code is named mechanical failure, it applies when the position sensor in the electric rear axle (ERAD) is not functioning. The fault is set while driving in gear D or R. The causes are wiring faults between the ERAD and the voltage converter (ISC), a signal cable that is short-circuited or broken, or internal faults in the ERAD or ISC. Electric propulsion is then not possible.

- Loose contacts, contact resistance or oxidation at the connections between the ERAD and the voltage converter (ISC)
- Signal cable short-circuited to supply voltage
- Signal cable short-circuited to ground
- Open circuit in the signal cable
- Damaged wiring between the ERAD and the ISC
- Internal fault in the electric rear axle (ERAD) or in the voltage converter (ISC)

- 1Have a workshop check the signal wire and connectors between the electric rear axle and the voltage converter (ISC). High voltage systems may only be handled by qualified personnel
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: look at the position sensor value in live data during a drive in gear D or R
- 3Do not work on the wiring to the electric rear axle yourself
- 4After the repair, check that the code is not stored again while driving
