Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The keyless vehicle module (KVM) monitors the antennas on the right side of the car once it is driving fast enough. The code is stored when the signal from the right-hand outer antenna becomes too low. The keyless functions may then become weaker or stop altogether.
Możliwe przyczyny
- The driver circuit feeding the outer right-hand antennas has a short to ground
- One of the outer right-hand antennas is faulty
- The wire to the outer right-hand antenna is shorted to ground
- The outer right-hand antenna is damaged
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2With the ignition off, disconnect the battery negative lead and inspect the wiring to the right-hand rear door handle antennas for damage
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wiring to the right-hand antennas has no open circuit and is not connected to ground (the body)
- 4Make sure the connectors at the antennas and at the KVM are firmly seated and free from corrosion
- 5Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the antennas and the KVM; the KVM may need replacing if no other fault is found
