Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The keyless vehicle module (KVM) has registered that its power supply or signal is too low. The cause may lie in the connections and wiring to the module, or in the communication with the central electronic module (CEM). Keyless function and the remote control may then be affected.
Możliwe przyczyny
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Damaged wiring for the power supply to the keyless vehicle module (KVM)
- Wrong CAN configuration ID, which happens when a module is meant for another car, for example a used one with different software or hardware
- Break in the CAN cabling that links the module to the central electronic module (CEM)
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read the codes, clear them and road test the car to see whether the code comes back
- 2Look at the fuse that protects the keyless module (KVM) in the fuse box; if it has blown, check the wiring for a short to ground before a new fuse is fitted
- 3Check that the connectors on the keyless vehicle module (KVM) are fully engaged and free from oxidation and damage
- 4Look for damage, chafing and open circuits in the wiring that supplies power to the module
- 5Have a workshop measure the voltage to the module and check the CAN link to the central electronic module (CEM) and the configuration number
Objawy, które możesz zauważyć2
- No, or reduced, keyless function
- The remote control cannot be used
