The airbag control module (SRS) measures the voltage to the left-side impact pressure sensor. The fault is stored when the voltage is too low, which can be caused by a wire short-circuited to ground or by poor contact in the connections.

- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Short circuit in the connections

- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check the wire running from the airbag module to the pressure sensor for a short to ground
- 3Have a workshop check the connectors in the wiring, including other connectors that link it, for play, oxidation and contact resistance
- 4Have a workshop correct the fault and confirm the code does not come back
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the check and the repair
