Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The transmission speed sensor sends a signal about input shaft rpm behind the torque converter. The control module uses the signal for shift timing, line pressure, engine torque and lock-up. The fault means the circuit to the sensor is open, so the signal is missing.

- Open circuit in the power supply or signal cable
- The transmission speed sensor is not working
- Internal fault inside the transmission control unit (TCM)
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read off the fault code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the power and signal leads to the speed sensor have no open circuit; check the connectors for oxidation and loose connections
- 3Have a diagnostic tool? Read the transmission speed in live data while driving; if the value stays still while the car moves, the sensor or its wiring is a likely cause
- 4Have a workshop check the speed sensor; if it is faulty it should be replaced
