Co oznacza ten kod błędu?
The transmission control module (TCM) receives too high a signal from the position sensor for shift fork 4. The sensor shows where the fork is, so a wrong value gives the control module incorrect information. The cause can be in the cable, the sensor or the control module.

- Cable short-circuited to supply voltage
- Damaged position sensor
- Damaged transmission control module (TCM)
Co możesz zrobić
- 1Read out the fault codes from the transmission control module and deal first with any codes that may share the same cause
- 2Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the voltage supply to the position sensors; if it is outside the normal range, the fault is inside the control module
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the cable to the position sensor for shift fork 4 has no contact with the battery's positive supply
- 4If you have diagnostic equipment, look at the position value for shift fork 4 in live data and compare it with the others
- 5If a value is outside or at the limit, a workshop should replace the mechatronic unit; if readings are within limits, the fault has probably been sporadic
