The transmission control module (TCM) has requested a movement of shift fork 2, but shift fork 1 moves instead. The cause lies in one of the solenoids that controls gear changes, and the fault means the mechatronic unit must be replaced.

- 1Read out the fault codes from the transmission control module and deal first with any codes that may share the same cause
- 2The fault means the mechatronic unit must be replaced, and a workshop should do this
- 3If the control module is also replaced, it must be programmed by a workshop, because a replacement control module arrives without software
- 4Then read out the fault codes again to see whether the fault code remains
