Solenoid CSPS2, which controls the hydraulic pressure over the clutch for the even gears, is shorted to ground. The fault is caused by a damaged solenoid, a damaged or dirty connector or circuit board, or a damaged transmission control module.

- 1Read the fault codes, clear TCM-05B5 and drive the car to see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop open the transmission control system and check solenoid CSPS2 visually for corrosion, dirt and metal build-up
- 3Have a workshop check the transmission oil level
- 4If the fault was found and fixed, the mechatronic unit can be refitted. Otherwise a workshop must replace it
