The transmission control module gets no valid signal from the left rear wheel sensor. The sensor measures the wheel's rotational speed for the brake control module (BCM), which passes the vehicle speed on to the transmission over CAN. The code points to a fault in the brake control module, so fault tracing starts there. The transmission uses a basic value for the signal while the fault remains.
