B0008 - Body Fault Code B0008 - SRS / Krockkuddar (Airbag Förar/Passagerar/Sido/Gardin)

DTC B0008 designates a circuit fault within an airbag deployment loop (typically driver knee airbag squib or auxiliary stage loop according to SAE J2012 sub-types). The Airbag Control Module (ACM/RCM) continuously monitors the bridge-wire squib circuit using a precision low-current bias voltage. If the measured loop resistance falls outside calibrated boundaries (< 1.5 Ω indicating a short circuit, > 4.2 Ω indicating high resistance/open circuit) or detects a short to ground/power, B0008 is logged and deployment capability for that circuit is disabled.
