Chip tuning involves optimizing the engine control unit (ECU) to improve performance and fuel efficiency. We read out the original software, modify parameters such as fuel injection and boost pressure, and then upload the optimized software.
Yes, when performed by experienced technicians with quality software. We stay within safe margins and consider the engine design. Our optimizations are thoroughly tested and we offer warranty on our work.
A standard Stage 1 optimization typically takes about 3 hours. More advanced jobs or hardware modifications may take longer.
Chip tuning may affect the factory warranty on engine and drivetrain. We recommend checking your warranty terms. Our work comes with its own warranty and we can restore to original settings if needed.
Remove the control unit from the car and package it securely with shock-absorbing material. Send it to our address along with a completed service form. We recommend tracked shipping.
We accept Swish and Invoice through Fortus Finans (30-day payment terms for approved customers). We do not offer card payment or installments.
No, unfortunately we do not have facilities for waiting customers in our premises while the work is being performed. The procedure usually takes about 3 hours, and we will contact you as soon as the car is ready for collection.
Modern automotive electronics are extremely sensitive to voltage drops. During programming, we communicate deeply with the car's systems, and a voltage drop can in the worst case permanently damage the software.
The part number is usually on a sticker directly on the control unit housing. If you can't find it, we can often help you via your registration number.
