Technical Description
DTC B0080 indicates a circuit fault within the Driver Seat Position Sensor (SPS) loop. The Restraints Control Module (RCM/SDM) uses this sensor to determine seat track position and modulate dual-stage driver airbag deployment. The DTC triggers when the circuit exhibits an open condition, short to ground, short to reference/battery voltage, or an out-of-range current draw in the current-loop monitored circuit.
Possible Causes
1. Glappkontakt, böjda stift eller mekaniskt skadad gul kontakt under förarstolen på grund av stolsrörelser
2. Avbrott eller kortslutning i kablage under stolen orsakat av klämskador i stolsglidskenan
3. Defekt stolspositionssensor (intern krets- eller Hall-elementskada)
4. Skadat eller feljusterat metallbleck/avkänningsmål på stolsskenan
5. Internt hårdvarufel i SRS-styrdonet (RCM/SDM)
