Technical Description
B0093 indicates a circuit or communication fault with the Left Side Restraint Sensor (Satellite Impact Sensor). Contemporary satellite sensors utilize standard two-wire digital protocols (such as PSI5 or PAS4) to transmit acceleration/pressure telemetry to the RCM (Restraints Control Module). The DTC is set when the control module detects an open circuit, short to ground/voltage, or missing/corrupt Manchester-encoded current-loop communication frames.
Possible Causes
1. Korrosion eller fuktinträngning i satellitsensorns kontaktstycke i B/C-stolpen eller tröskellådan
2. Skadat/klämt kablage i dörrgenomföring, golvmatta eller stolpe
3. Defekt satellitsensor (internt piezo-/MEMS- eller ASIC-fel)
4. Defekt RCM / Airbag-styrdon (drivsteg eller internt gränssnitt)
