Technical Description
DTC B0414 is triggered by the Body Control Module (BCM) when it detects a circuit fault or plausibility failure in the door lock/anti-theft switch position feedback circuit. The BCM supplies a reference/pull-up voltage and monitors switch status transitions. The code is logged when feedback voltage remains out of range (open circuit, short-to-ground, or internal microswitch degradation) or fails to correlate with the commanded lock/unlock motor state within a calibrated time window.
Possible Causes
5. Internt fel i BCM (defekt pull-up resistor eller skadad H-bryggdrivare).

Mechanic's Tip
Before replacing expensive components, always double-check wiring and connections. 80% of all sensor faults are actually due to corroded contacts or broken wires.
