Technical Description
C0005 indicates a circuit malfunction or plausibility error associated with the Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor circuit. The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) triggers this DTC upon detecting an open circuit, short to ground/voltage, missing pulses, or implausible frequency compared to the other wheel speed signals while driving.
Possible Causes
1. Skadad eller korroderad kabelstam/kontaktstycke vid hjulhuset (mekaniskt slitage/fukt)
2. Defekt hjulhastighetssensor (internt avbrott eller termisk instabilitet)
3. Förorenad, sprucken eller korroderad magnetisk givarkrans / ABS-tandhjul på hjullagret
4. Ökat luftspalt/glapp i hjullager som flyttar sensorn för långt från pulshjulet
5. Internt fel i ABS/ESP-hydraulaggregatets styrenhet (EBCM)
