C0008 - Chassis Fault Code C0008 - ABS / Bromssystem (Hjulhastighetssensorer & Ventiler)

DTC C0008 indicates an electrical fault or signal plausibility failure within the ABS/ESC actuator or sensor circuit (commonly wheel speed sensor circuit or internal hydraulic valve solenoid monitoring). The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) performs a power-on self-test (POST) and dynamic current-loop monitoring. If the current consumption drops outside expected thresholds (e.g., 7mA low / 14mA high for active current-loop Hall sensors) or if resistance/back-EMF is out of spec, the module flags C0008 and inhibits active brake intervention.
