Technical Description
DTC C0012 designates a circuit malfunction within the ABS/ESC Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU) for the Left Front hydraulic regulation/release solenoid valve. The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) continuously monitors low-side and high-side driver circuits using current sensing shunts and internal diagnostic feedback. The fault triggers when the detected coil current deviates from expected thresholds, indicating an open circuit, short to ground, short to voltage, or an internal semiconductor driver failure on the ABS control PCB.
Possible Causes
1. Kallödning, fuktinträngning eller internt avbrott på kretskortet i ABS/ESC-styrenheten (EBCM).
2. Skadad eller korroderad solenoidspole i ABS-hydraulblocket (HCU) för vänster framhjul.
3. Oxid eller stiftglapp i HECU-huvudkontakten, särskilt på spänningsmatnings- eller jordstift.
4. Defekt MOSFET/drivkrets i EBCM på grund av transient överspänning.
5. Mekanisk kärvning eller föroreningar i ABS-ventilens hydrauliska säte.
