Technical Description
DTC C0014 indicates an electrical malfunction in the Right Front Inlet Valve Solenoid circuit within the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) monitors coil integrity using driver feedback circuits. The fault triggers when the detected current draw deviates from calibrated thresholds during initial self-test or active cycling, indicating an open circuit, short to ground, or short to power within the solenoid coil or internal driver circuit.
Possible Causes
1. Intern oxidation, kallödning eller brustet stift/spole inuti ABS-enhetens hydraulblock/modul (HCU/EBCM)
2. Korrosion eller stiftglapp i EBCM-huvudkontaktdon
3. Defekt utgångssteg (MOSFET/High-side switch) på kretskortet i ABS-styrenheten
4. Spänningsfall på ABS-enhetens huvudsäkring/matning under ventilarbete
