Technical Description
DTC C0020 is triggered when the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects an electrical malfunction in the ABS pump motor control circuit. The module monitors the high-side/low-side MOSFET driver, measuring circuit voltage drop and current via an internal shunt. The code sets if an open circuit (worn motor brushes/open windings), short to ground/power, or a stalled motor condition is detected where the commanded state does not match feedback telemetry (lack of back-EMF or excessive current draw).
Possible Causes
1. Slitna eller fastkärvade kolborstar / korrosion i ABS-pumpens likströmsmotor.
2. Bränd kraftelektronik (MOSFET-drivsteg) eller spruckna lödpunkter internt i ABS-styrmodulen (EBCM).
3. Ärjad eller bränd huvudsäkring (30A-50A Maxi-fuse) eller korrosion i matningskablage/jordpunkt.
4. Mekaniskt blockerat hydrauliskt pumpelement i HCU.
