Technical Description
DTC C0032 indicates an open circuit, short to ground, or short to voltage on the Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor power supply circuit. Modern active (Hall-effect or Magnetoresistive) 2-wire wheel speed sensors utilize a current-loop interface powered by a high-side driver in the ABS module. When the internal circuit sense logic detects current draw outside the valid window (e.g., < 4 mA for open circuit, > 28 mA for short circuit) or an abnormal pull-up voltage, C0032 is logged and safety systems enter fail-safe deactivation.
Possible Causes
1. Skadat kablage eller kabelbrott vid vänster främre fjäderben/hjulhus på grund av kontinuerlig böjning vid styrning och fjädring.
2. Oxiderad eller deformerad kontaktstycke vid sensorn med internt övergångsmotstånd.
3. Defekt aktiv hjulhastighetssensor (internt avbrott i Hall-elementet).
4. Korrosion/stiftskada i ABS-styrenhetens huvudkontakt eller havererad utgångsdrivkrets (High-Side Driver) i ABS-modulen.
