Technical Description
DTC C0041 designates an electrical fault, plausibility error, or signal out of range in the Brake Pedal Switch 'B' circuit. The ABS/ESP control module (EBCM) and ECM/PCM monitor redundant dual-channel inputs from the brake pedal switch (typically NO/NC switch pairs or dual-output Hall sensors). If channel 'B' exhibits an open circuit, short to GND/voltage, or correlation timing mismatch relative to channel 'A' and hydraulic brake pressure sensor data, C0041 is stored, triggering safety deactivations of cruise control, stability systems, and regenerative braking.
Possible Causes
1. Feljusterad, glapp eller defekt bromsljuskontakt/bromspedalgivare.
2. Oxidation, skadade stift eller dålig kontakt i kontaktdonet vid pedalstället.
3. Kablagebrott eller kortslutning i signalledning mellan bromskontakt och ABS/ESP-styrenhet.
4. Korrupt grundkalibrering/nollpunktsinlärning av bromspedalläget efter komponentbyte.
5. Internt fel i ABS/ESP-modulens ingångssteg.
