C0088 - Chassis Fault Code C0088 - ABS / Bromssystem (Hjulhastighetssensorer & Ventiler)

DTC C0088 indicates a circuit malfunction or implausible signal state related to the Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch monitored by the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) or Body Control Module (BCM). The sensor typically utilizes a float-actuated reed switch in the master cylinder reservoir. The module monitors this input via an internal pull-up circuit (5V or 12V). If the circuit exhibits an open condition, short to ground, or an active low-fluid state persisting beyond the debounce threshold, DTC C0088 is triggered and stability/braking aids may be degraded.
