Technical Description
DTC C0222 is triggered by the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) when the Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor signal is missing, erratic, or out of sync with the remaining wheel speed signals while vehicle motion is detected. Depending on architecture, the circuit evaluates either passive AC reluctance voltage thresholds or active current-modulated pulses (7mA low / 14mA high). Missing transitions trigger a fail-safe shutdown of ABS/TCS/ESC systems.
Possible Causes
5. Internt hårdvarufel i ABS-hydraulaggregatets styrenhet (EBCM ingångssteg).

Mechanic's Tip
Before replacing expensive components, always double-check wiring and connections. 80% of all sensor faults are actually due to corroded contacts or broken wires.
