Technical Description
The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) continuously monitors the brake fluid pressure sensor and hydraulic circuit. DTC C0224 is triggered when the analog output voltage from the pressure transducer is out-of-range (typically <0.2V or >4.8V) indicating an open circuit or short, or when a plausibility error occurs between detected hydraulic pressure build-up and the brake pedal switch status. As a failsafe, ABS/ESP functionality is disabled.
Possible Causes
1. Defekt integrerad eller extern bromstryckgivare i ABS-hydraulblocket (HCU).
2. Korrosion, kontaktresistans eller stiftglapp i ABS/ESP-styrenhetens flerpoliga kontaktdon.
3. Avbrott eller kortslutning i 5V-referens eller signalledarkablage mellan styrenhet och extern tryckgivare.
4. Plausibilitetsfel orsakat av defekt dubbel bromsljuskontakt (BLS) eller luft i hydraulsystemet.

Mechanic's Tip
Before replacing expensive components, always double-check wiring and connections. 80% of all sensor faults are actually due to corroded contacts or broken wires.
