Technical Description
DTC C0226 indicates an electrical circuit malfunction within the Left Front ABS Solenoid Valve circuit located in the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU / EBCM). The ABS control module performs continuous low-current continuity checks and pulse tests to monitor solenoid coil resistance and driver status. The code is triggered when the ECU detects an open circuit, short to ground, short to battery voltage, or a failed internal semiconductor driver/flyback diode during static key-on self-test or active pressure modulation cycles.
Possible Causes
1. Avbrott eller bränd lödning/kontaktbleck inuti ABS-elektronikenheten (EBCM) vid ventilanslutningen.
2. Oxidation, korrosion eller stiftglapp i huvudkontaktdonet till ABS-enheten.
3. Intern kortslutning eller avbrott i hydraulblockets elektromagnetspole (HCU).
4. Defekt internt ventilrelä eller utgångstransistor (MOSFET) i ABS-styrenheten.
5. Matningsspänningsbortfall till ventilkretsen på grund av ärgad säkring eller skadat kablage.
