Technical Description
DTC C0234 indicates a circuit malfunction or plausibility error within the brake hydraulic pressure sensor / master cylinder pressure sensor circuit. The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) monitors a 5V ratiometric analog signal from the piezoresistive transducer. If the signal drifts out of range (<0.2V or >4.8V) or fails dynamic correlation checks relative to brake pedal switch activation, C0234 is set and active stability control (ESC/ABS) is inhibited.
Possible Causes
1. Defekt bromstryckssensor (internt elementfel eller drift i nollpunktskalibrering)
2. Oxiderade eller uppglappade stift i kontaktdonet till hydraulaggregatet/sensorn
3. Ledningsbrott eller kortslutning i 5V-referens eller signalledning till EBCM
4. Intern hårdvarudefekt/A/D-omvandlarfel i ABS/EBCM-styrdonet

Mechanic's Tip
Before replacing expensive components, always double-check wiring and connections. 80% of all sensor faults are actually due to corroded contacts or broken wires.
