Technical Description
DTC C0251 is set by the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) when it detects an electrical or hydraulic anomaly in the brake pressure transducer circuit or associated hydraulic control unit (HCU) proportional solenoid. The EBCM monitors internal and external pressure sensor return voltages; a diagnostic fault sets if the analog return signal falls outside the 0.2V–4.8V linear window on a 5.0V reference circuit, or if hydraulic pressure gradient mismatch is recognized during ABS/ESC active modulation.
Possible Causes
1. Defekt bromstryckssensor (intern piezoresistiv drift eller membranläckage i HCU)
2. Oxiderade eller glappa kontaktstift i EBCM/ABS-enhetens huvudkontakt
3. Kabelskada (kortslutning till jord/spänning eller avbrott i 5V referensledningen)
4. Intern hårdvarudefekt i EBCM (drivsteg eller A/D-omvandlare)
