What does this fault code mean?
The ADM has flagged the main fuel level reading on the data network as wrong. The signal comes from the central electronic module (CEM), so the fault usually starts there.
Possible causes
- Fault in the central electronic module (CEM), which sends the fuel level signal
What you can do
- 1Read the codes in the central electronic module (CEM) first and deal with them
- 2Clear the code only after the fault in the CEM has been fixed
- 3Check the battery and its terminals, since voltage problems can disturb the data network
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the data network and the CEM
- 5Do not replace the CEM until a workshop has investigated the data network and confirmed an internal fault
Symptoms you may notice1
- Emissions warning lamp lit
