What does this fault code mean?
The ADM has detected an internal fault in its own memory, where the checksum does not match. The fault may be temporary, for example after a disturbance at start-up, or permanent. If it returns, the module itself usually needs replacing.
Possible causes
- Damaged additive dosing module (ADM)
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns
- 2Check that the battery is in good condition, since low voltage can cause false internal faults
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the module after assessing the fault
- 4After any replacement, check that the code does not come back
