ADM-P192329 - Fuel Additive Level Circuit Range/Performance. General Signal Failures. Signal signal invalid
System

Volvo models this fault code applies to
Applies to the following models:
2 modelsS80 (2007–), V70 (2008–)
Show models by year and engine (2)
What does this fault code mean?
The ADM has registered that the signal from the additive level sensor lies outside its permitted range, meaning it is faulty or implausible. Because the sensor is part of the additive tank, the tank may need replacing if the fault persists.
Possible causes
- Poor contact, resistance or corrosion at the terminals
- Break in the signal wire, or a short to ground or to supply voltage
- Damaged additive level sensor
- Damaged additive dosing module (ADM)
What you can do
- 1Check the connector at the additive tank for looseness, resistance and corrosion
- 2Clear the code and road test to see whether it returns
- 3If the fault persists with no visible cause, the tank may need replacing because the sensor is built into it
- 4After any repair, check that the code does not come back
