What does this fault code mean?
The ADM has found a parameter sent by the central electronic module (CEM) that is incorrect or missing. The code usually appears when a module or function has been added to or removed from the car without the configuration being updated, or after a CAN communication fault.
Possible causes
- A module or function has been added or removed without the vehicle configuration being updated
- Fault in CAN communication
What you can do
- 1Ask whether any module or function has recently been added, removed or replaced in the car
- 2Read the codes in the CEM and deal with any CAN faults first
- 3Have a workshop check that the car configuration is updated after any such change
- 4Clear the code and check whether it returns
