ADM-U300362 - Battery Voltage. Algorithm Based Failures. Signal compare failure
System
Additive Dosing Module (ADM)
Volvo models this fault code applies to
Applies to the following models:
2 modelsS80 (2007–), V70 (2008–)
Show models by year and engine (2)
What does this fault code mean?
The ADM compares the power supply to its own module with what the CEM reports. This code is only relevant if it has been active for a long time in the same driving cycle and you notice a loss of function that can be linked to it. Otherwise it does not indicate a fault and can be cleared.
Possible causes
- Poor contact, resistance or corrosion at the terminals
- Open circuit in the power supply
- Power supply shorted to ground
- Damaged additive dosing module (ADM)
What you can do
- 1Check whether the engine control module has stored codes for communication with the ADM; if not, the code can be cleared without further action
- 2Check the power supply and ground connection to the ADM and that the connectors are secure
- 3Check that the battery and its terminals are in good condition
- 4If the fault persists together with a loss of function, have a workshop trace the supply and the module
Symptoms you may notice1
- No clear symptoms for the driver
