What does this fault code mean?
The accessory electronic module (AEM) is getting too low a voltage on its permanent battery supply. The AEM controls factory and retrofitted accessories, and without a stable supply the accessories connected to it stop working.
Possible causes
- Blown fuse for the accessory module supply
- Open circuit or short to ground in the supply wire
- Poor contact, corrosion or a damaged connector at the module
What you can do
- 1Check the main fuse and the fuses in the rear fuse box
- 2Check that the battery is charged and the terminals are tight
- 3Check the module connector for poor contact, corrosion and damage
- 4If the fault remains, have the module supply and ground checked by a workshop
