What does this fault code mean?
The ATM finds no TMC receiver, although the car's setup expects one. The code is also set by communication faults between the antenna module and the receiver. Traffic information is therefore not shown or does not update.
Possible causes
- The car has no TMC receiver
- Communication problem between the ATM and the TMC receiver
What you can do
- 1Check that a TMC receiver is fitted to the car, and fit one if it is missing
- 2Check the connectors and wiring between the antenna module and the TMC receiver for looseness and oxidation
- 3Clear the code and check whether it returns
- 4If the fault returns, the TMC receiver may need replacing by a workshop
