What does this fault code mean?
The antenna module (ATM) has detected an internal fault in the GPS unit. Without working GPS reception the navigation has to estimate the car's position from speed and direction, so the position on the map gradually drifts.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the GPS unit
- A one-off disturbance at start-up, if the fault has only occurred once
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and see whether it returns – a single intermittent fault can be a temporary disturbance
- 2Check that the GPS antenna is not obstructed or damaged
- 3If the fault returns or is permanent, the GPS unit needs replacing

- The map shows the car in the wrong place

- The navigation calculates position without GPS, which is less accurate
