What does this fault code mean?
The audio module (AUD) has registered a break in the signal wire from the speaker mounted in the left front door. As a result, no sound comes from that speaker.
Possible causes
- Broken wire between the left front door speaker and the audio unit
- Open circuit in the loudspeaker
What you can do
- 1Disconnect the connector at the left front door speaker and check it for contact resistance, looseness and oxidation
- 2Check the connector between the audio module and the left front door speaker for contact resistance, looseness and oxidation
- 3Look for breaks or damage in the cable inside the door
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check and replace the speaker if it is faulty
