What does this fault code mean?
The audio module (AUD) monitors the signal to the front loudspeakers and has found a level that is too high or too low. The fault may concern one speaker or both, and it shows when the ignition is switched on. The usual cause is a short circuit in the wiring, either to supply voltage or to ground.
Possible causes

What you can do
- 1Check the fuses for the audio system
- 2Inspect the wiring to the front speakers for chafing and pinching
- 3Make sure the connectors at the speakers and at the audio module are tight and clean
