What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUD) has found that a button on the left headphone panel has been held pressed for too long, which means it is treated as stuck. The buttons for that output are therefore ignored. The fault concerns the button rather than the audio system itself.
Possible causes
- A button on one of the left headphone outputs is stuck in the pressed position
- Faulty or damaged button in the headphone panel
What you can do
- 1Check that the connector to the left headphone panel is fully seated
- 2If the fault is intermittent it may have cleared; clear the code and try again, and investigate the button if the code is set once more
- 3Check the buttons on the left headphone panel using fast forward, next track and switching between CD/MD and radio
- 4If the button sticks again, the headphone panel needs replacing by a workshop
