What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUD) has itself detected an internal fault. The code is set at start-up when the ignition is turned on. As a result the sound from the speakers does not match the selected setting, and the fault can only be resolved by checking or replacing the module.

- Internal fault in the audio control module
What you can do
- 1Try changing the audio source and settings to see whether the sound becomes normal
- 2Clear the code and check whether it returns
- 3If the fault is intermittent, note when it occurs; if it returns, replace the audio control module
- 4Have a workshop confirm the fault is permanent before replacing the module
