What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUD) has registered too high a signal on the wiring to the loudspeaker in the left rear door. This points to a short circuit to supply voltage between the module and the speaker. The code is set while the module is active, and no sound comes from the speaker.
Possible causes
- Short circuit to supply voltage in the wiring between the audio module and the left rear door speaker
What you can do
- 1Check the fuses for the audio system and see where they are located in the owner's manual
- 2Inspect the wiring to the left rear door speaker for damage where it may have touched another wire
- 3Check the connectors at the speaker and at the audio module for looseness and corrosion
- 4Read the signal with diagnostic equipment and repair the short to supply voltage
